1936 Bridgeport Centennial Commemorative silver half dollar NGC graded MS 65. In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the incorporation of the city of Bridgeport, Connecticut a special 50 cent piece was authorized. There were only 25,000 of this coin minted. The head of P. Barnum, Bridgeports best known citizen, is embossed on the obverse. An Art Deco eagle occupies the reverse. This is a beautiful coin with good luster and minimal bag contact marks.
