This low mintage, beautifully toned 1934 Daniel Boone commemorative half dollar is a 90% silver coin designed by Augustus Lukeman to honor the 200th anniversary of Daniel Boone’s birth. The obverse features a portrait of Boone, while the reverse shows a depiction of Boone standing with Chief Black Fish, a rising sun, and a blockhouse stockade.
