This 90% silver coin is one of America’s most beautiful classic commemorative coins. Known as the “San Diego half dollar, ” it was issued to mark the California-Pacific International Exposition. The obverse depicts a seated Minerva with a spear and shield inscribed EUREKA. The reverse shows the exposition’s State of California building and observation tower.
