Half Dollar coin graded by NGC at 66 with CAC Approval. Premium Gem original coin with lovely eye appealing tones. Overall, a really nice coin and super quality for the grade. This item has a lovely mix of silver and champagne-russet-gold-magenta tones in a consistent and eye pleasing fashion. At close look, some luminescent limes will emerge as well! The surface, strike, and luster are all you’d expect for the upper end of the Gem grade assigned. Also, CAC agrees with the grade making this one a PQ coin! Feel free to request other photos and we’d be happy to provide. We shot a few sets on this one with different lighting characteristics but no filtering or doctoring – all natural photos! As is the case with many toned coins, this one isn’t easy to completely capture its natural beauty. Washington Commemorative graded by PCGS at MS66. First year of this issue! Coin Composition: 90% Silver and 10% Copper. Plenty of original and vintage eye appeal with a mix of lovely vibrant gold-honey-russet-mahagony tones. Premium Gem quality surfaces and device elements resulting from the solid strike! About the Booker T. Washington Commemorative Half Dollar. Washington Memorial half dollar was designed by Isaac Scott Hathaway and minted in silver between 1946 and 1951. The obverse depicts Booker T. The reverse shows the cabin in which Washington was born, now the Booker T. Washington National Monument, and the Hall of Fame for Great Americans, in which Washington is honored. The description on the reverse reads From slave cabin to Hall of Fame.
