The obverse displays a portrait of two veterans from both factions. The reverse displays a double-bladed fasces flanked by two shields. Each shield is emblazoned with a design of the flag of the Union and the Confederacy. This coin comes certified and sealed in a tamper-proof NGC holder. A genuine 1936 Battle of Gettysburg Anniversary Commemorative Silver Half Dollar Coin, in BU Very Choice Uncirculated Mint State Condition. This historic 90% silver half dollar commemorated the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg. On the obverse, two Civil War veterans one Union, one Confederate stand shoulder to shoulder. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and BLUE AND GRAY REUNION encircle the design. The reverse shows a double-bladed fasces between Union and Confederate shields.
